This post is why I love ‘thingsstonerslike’
So yea, I’m at this basketball game. I missed going to them. My brother used to play, and let’s just say I was super enthusiastic. Or in other words, I screamed my head off. So I’m at this game and I just really wanna get obnoxious. But instead I’ll watch Kaila rock this light show out and scream for her!
Maps & Atlases.
Really good music makes me super happy and super relaxed.

What band or musician is most important to you?
Well, I have trouble picking my favorite music overall, considering that I hate making definitive statements. So what I’ll do is I will pick two recent favorites, and two long-term favorites. I’ll probably split it up into rap and rock too. So first, my two recent favorites:

Childish Gambino
Love his rap, it’s upbeat, raw and funny. Like he fucking name-drops Tina Fey. That’s sick nasty. Plus, he makes remixes that rock the world. Love him.

Minus the Bear
Last year, this guy told me about this band, and I kind of fell in love with them. They have a really great sound and I think they are pretty awesome. I think they are in line to be one of my favorites.
So I guess now, my long-term favorites:

Death Cab For Cutie
Well, I love Death Cab. I can listen to them almost anytime, and really they were one of my introduction bands into indie and alternative music. I need to see them in concert one day.

Kid Cudi
Kid Cudi made me love rap. For a really long time, I disliked the majority of rap. I looked down on people who loved rap. Thankfully I got over that stupidity. Kid Cudi helped me get over that stupidity. Plus, he’s just ridiculously good looking.
And I sort of feel bad about not having Lady Gaga in here, but really, I like her more for the statements she makes. I don’t know, these are just some of the people that I really like and that changed my perspective on music.
Five Places you want to visit:

California/The West Coast
I can’t wait to go to Graduate school on the west coast. I’ve lived in the east coast, the mid west, and I’m excited to try out the west coast. Not to mention the quality trees they have there. hahaha wink wink. bahahahah.

Rome
Most people don’t know this, but I’m a history nerd. I love going places that have historical significance. I think that Rome has so much importance, not only in history, but also in art. It would be amazing

India
I think that Indian art and beauty is one of the most underrated things. I mean, the thing about India is that it has so much beauty, but it also has so much poverty. I think visiting a place like this would change my life.

France
Again, art. I would die to see the Versailles palace, the Louvre, the Monet gardens. Oh goodness, the opulence of France is beautiful. I would love love love to go there.

Ireland
I need to go back to Ireland. I’ve missed it so much.
To be honest, there are a million places I want to go. I think traveling is the most amazing thing to do. I also think that the word ‘traveling’ should have two L’s like a real word would. Dumb word.
IF the world was run by stoners we’d have a designated nap time between 2 and 4.
You need to do something, but you can’t do it? It’s really annoying and it’s giving me a stomach ache. dumb.
How is this still happening?
When I think of a painter, I see someone watching colors and shades of the world and putting them to canvas. When I think of a musician, I see someone listening to the hard rhythm of the human heart and wrapping it in melody.
When I think of a writer, I see someone on his hands and knees, leaning over the spilled blood of his soul, pooling in the dirt like the blood of Abel, and hearing his lifeblood, his lifework, cry out to God, “Here is my story! Here is my truth! Someone bear witness of me!”
